Art and Music Education Series

COAACH is dedicated to community outreach and to using effective methods for sharing valuable information.  Leveraging NC A&T State University’s phenomenal visual arts and performance programs and resources, COAACH aims to communicate messages in unique ways.  We have also partnered with committed supporters in the broader arts and music industry to provide key messages to communities.

Keeping Memories Alive Gala

kma_featured_img1In 2010, our team launched the Keeping Memories Alive Program (KMAP).  KMAP hosts educational galas that serve to raise community awareness on Alzheimer’s, aging, and community health.  KMAP galas celebrate the tireless efforts of caregivers, inform community stakeholders and policymakers, and raise funds for COAACH.

In addition to art and musical talent from NC A&T, past galas have included performances from R&B singers Barbara Weathers (formerly with Atlantic Starr) and Ruben Studdard (former American Idol winner).
